About Tree Town Wonderland
A Denver family tradition, built to bring the joy of picking out the Christmas tree back to your family.
It Started With a Family Tradition
When Kent Smith was growing up, one of the best days of the year was the day his family drove out to a local tree farm to pick out their Christmas tree. Walking the rows, arguing over which one was best, bringing it home and filling the house with that fresh evergreen smell: that was when the holidays really began.
Years later, Kent noticed that tradition was fading. Too many families were grabbing a tree from a parking lot or pulling a fake one out of the garage. So he built Tree Town Wonderland, a place where Denver families can make picking out the tree a real outing again.
“Some of my best memories are walking the rows with my family, hunting for the perfect tree. I built Tree Town so Denver families could have that same day together, and make it a tradition of their own.”
What Tree Town Wonderland Is Today
Tree Town Wonderland is a fresh-cut Christmas tree lot and free family holiday experience at Putter’s Pride Mini Golf, 3604 South Kipling Street in Denver. Every day from November 15 through December 24, families walk through more than 500,000 holiday lights, visit with Santa, hear stories from Mrs. Claus, and on special dates, meet Santa’s reindeer. Then they choose their tree from two acres of fresh-cut firs, pines and Colorado native trees.
